PRINTER, Ky. — A Floyd County man is facing 16 felony charges, following a child porn investigation.

Kentucky State Police received a tip that child porn was being uploaded to the internet from a Floyd County home. Police obtained a search warrant for the home of Matthew Dwayne Williams, 38, of Printer.

During the raid, police say Williams admitted to operating the account that was downloading and reposting the material.

Williams was arrested and charged with seven counts of possessing and seven counts of distributing child porn of a victim younger than 12. Those charges are each punishable by 5-to-10 years in prison.

He was also charged with one count each of possessing and distributing child porn of a victim older than 12, which is punishable to 1-to-5 years in prison.

Williams is being held in the Floyd County Detention Center.
