PRESTONSBURG, Ky. — A Floyd County man has been arrested following his indictment on child exploitation charges.

Ralph Mullett, 41, of Auxier, is charged with first-degree rape and first-degree sexual-abuse. He is accused of sexually assaulting a girl younger than 12 from June 28 to Aug. 28 of last year.

The rape charge is the most serious, carrying a potential sentence of between 20 years and life.

Mullett was arrested on Thursday and jailed on a $1 million cash bond.
