The Floyd County Schools District is investigating after a sexually explicit video purportedly featuring a teacher employed by the district made its way onto social media.

The video was allegedly shared on the photo-sharing social network Snapchat and featured sexually explicit imagery of a teacher from Betsy Layne Elementary School. Floyd County Schools Superintendent Danny Adkins couldn’t say much about the situation, but he acknowledged that the district was aware of the video, and is investigating.

Adkins said there is no clear timeline for the completion of the investigation and no official action has been taken.
