PRESTONSBURG, Ky. — A Floyd County woman has been indicted for murder, nearly two years after a fatal crash.

Cammie Little, 36, of Bevinsville, was arrested Dec. 21, following her indictment the previous month. The case remained under seal until her arrest.

Little was the driver of a car that struck a rock embankment along U.S. 23 at Betsy Layne early on the morning of Jan. 21, 2022. She and her passenger, Casey Brown, 37, of Betsy Layne, were ejected from the vehicle.

Brown died at the scene, while Little was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

Little has now been charged with murder and aggravated DUI in connection with the case. She is being held on a $1 million bond.
