Former Floyd man arrested on child porn charges

ST. CATHARINE, Ky. — A homeless man formerly from Floyd County has been arrested in central Kentucky on child porn charges.

B.J. Wood, 40, whose last known address was in Ivel, is charged with 20 counts of possessing child pornography and one count of distributing it.

The Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch began investigating him after discovering him allegedly uploading pictures online. He was arrested in St. Catherine, in Washington County, last Thursday.

He is currently being held in the Marion County Detention Center.
