BIG STONE GAP, Va. — A memorial fund has been established to benefit the daughter of a Big Stone Gap police officer who was killed in the line of duty last month.

The Police Benevolent Foundation is accepting donations online, with 100 percent of donations received going toward the care and support of Officer Michael Chandler’s daughter.

Chandler was responding to a call Nov. 13, when he was shot. He later died at the hospital.
