A shakeup in the Mountain Top Sports boys’ Super 7 basketball poll has the Pikeville Panthers (5-1) on top for the first time this season.

Pikeville edged out Johnson Central (6-1), which climbed to No. 2. The Golden Eagles are followed by Shelby Valley (6-3) at No. 3 while Pike County Central (4-1) climbed to No. 4.

Letcher Central (5-2) rounds out the top five, followed by Lawrence County (4-2) at No. 6. Belfry (4-3) and East Ridge (4-2) share the seventh spot.
