Pikeville jumped ahead of Highlands in the opening quarter and the Lady Panthers cruised to a 52-27 win in the championship game of the Assumption Rockets Christmas Tournament played Thursday in Louisville.
Rylee Theiss fired in 18 points as Pikeville improved to 8-1 and won its seventh straight game. Leighan Jackson Kristen Whited added 10 apiece.
