Letcher Central pounded out 11 hits and erupted for 10 runs in the bottom of the fourth inning to score a 14-1 win over Pike Central in a home game played on Monday.
Makennah Johnson was the winning pitcher, allowing just two hits as the Lady Cougars improved to 3-1. Lily Blackburn took the loss for the Lady Hawks, now 1-4.
Autumn Wampler doubled, scored a pair of runs and drove in three. Chloe Wampler added a single while scoring one run and knocking in two. Abigail McDougal tripled in one run and scored twice.
Kaden Hess singled home one run for Central. Emily Lawson had the only other hit.
