I am pleased to announce that I have officially filed for re-election as your Floyd District Judge. I am honored to have 17 years of experience in public service as a judge and prosecutor. I look forward to the opportunity to continue service as your Floyd District Judge.
When I first ran to become your Floyd District Judge, I pledged to work tirelessly to help our county. In three short years, with the support of a strong community, I am proud of the work we have done. We have seen a record number of drug court graduates. Dockets are being efficiently managed, and cases are being resolved in a timely manner. Just last year, Floyd County was selected as one of the first state-funded mental health courts in Kentucky, and I am pleased to preside over this court.
In addition, as your District Judge, I have zealously represented Floyd County at the state level. In just my first term, I have been appointed to the Kentucky Judicial Commission on Mental Health, Specialty Courts Certification Board, and Specialty Courts Judicial Advisory Committee. I also serve on the District Judges Legislative and Education Committees. I thoroughly enjoy service with these groups and the opportunity it presents for me to highlight the great work we are doing together in Floyd County.
Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to serve as your Floyd District Judge. I look forward to many more years of continued service to our people.
