PIKEVILLE, Ky. – The season many Kentuckians wait all year for is finally here. But it’s not centered around the colors red and green. For thousands of deer hunters in the state, it’s all about hunter orange and the opportunity to harvest the buck of a lifetime. But, it is also the season when Conservation Officers see their biggest work load. Shannon Deskins spent a day recently with an officer in Pike County and brings us this report.
