PIKEVILLE, Ky. — A Knott County man has been sentenced to nearly 16 years in prison after pleading guilty to federal drug charges.
Brandy Slone, 42, of Pippa Passes, pleaded guilty back in April to conspiracy to distribute more than 500 grams of meth. Slone admitted to developing a relationship with a meth supplier and sold large amounts of the drug over the next two years.
This week, he was sentenced to 190 months in prison.
During his sentencing, the court learned he had distributed more than 11 pounds of meth and that he tried to smuggle drugs into the Pike County Detention Center after his arrest.
Slone remains in the Pike County jail, awaiting assignment to the federal prison system.
