LITTCARR, Ky. — Kentucky State Police troopers are on the scene of an officer-involved shooting in Knott County.

The incident occurred at Littcarr, where officers were involved in a shooting with a suspect. No officers were injured.

KSP Public Information Officer Trooper Matt Gayheart reported on social media that there is no current threat to public safety.

The identity of the suspect has not yet been released.
