A Lawrence County man is arrested on charges related to distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor.

65-year-old James M. Combs of Louisa was arrested Thursday night as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation. The KSP Electronic Crime Branch began the investigation after discovering the suspect distributed files of child sexual exploitation online.
Equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized and taken to KSP’s forensic laboratory for examination.
Combs is currently charged with five counts of distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor and 10 counts of possess/view matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor. Each charge is a Class-D felony punishable by one to five years in prison.
Combs was lodged in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center.
