The Letcher County judge-executive has rescinded an order limiting occupancy in the county’s businesses.
According to an executive order issued Friday, Letcher Judge-Executive Terry Adams has rescinded his previous order limiting occupancy in businesses in the county to one person per household. The order was entered in March in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and was in accordance with guidelines issued by Gov. Andy Beshear’s office during the pandemic response.
According to Adams’ executive order, social distancing must still be practiced in public places, hand washing and sanitizing must continue to be utilized, guidance issued by the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention must be followed and residents are order to stay home if they are sick.
