
SALYERSVILLE, Ky. — An undercover investigation by the Magoffin County Sheriff’s Office has resulted in a meth-trafficking arrest.
According to the police report, the sheriff’s office sent a confidential informant to purchase 3.5 grams of meth from Adam Curtis Minix, 55, of Salyersville, for $120. That transaction was reportedly captured on audio and video.
Minix is now charged with first-degree meth trafficking. If convicted, he will face a potential sentence of 5-to-10 years in prison if he is convicted.
He is currently being held in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center, in Paintsville.
