PIKEVILLE, KY.-Hillbilly Days is always a fantastic opportunity for the listeners of the radio stations of East Kentucky Broadcasting and the viewers of EKB-TV to meet their favorite radio or television personality. It’s also a great opportunity for them to win prizes.
“One of our great promotions this year is called High Tech Redneck, where Hillbilly goers can go to our sponsors and take a selfie and pick up guitar picks and then bring it back and could possibly win prizes. For years we have given away Hillbilly commemorative t-shirts for our radio stations. This year is no different, but we are slingshoting them out to the crowd. It has really been interesting, because there have been people bump into each other, some people have fought over a t-shirt, so it’s a pretty fun attraction to stop by and take part in.”
To get one of the pics that Jill was talking about to be eligible for one of our fantastic prizes visit the booths, at Hillbilly Days, of one of our sponsors. Amber Hunt Sisco for District Judge her booth is on Huffman Avenue, visit Domino’s at their downtown location, the booth for Roger Ford for Pike County Clerk is across from the courthouse and the Upike booth right next to EKB booth at bottom of 99. Don’t forget the ever-popular ping-pong drop will take place at noon on Friday. Gather up all the ping-pong balls that you can and bring them down to the EKB booth to redeem your prizes.
