Pike County, KY — An assault has landed a Pike County man in jail. Kentucky State Police responded to a domestic call on Broadbottom Road in Pike County. When the Trooper arrived, he found 29-year-old Benjamin Curtis Jones being held down on the floor by his stepfather. Upon investigation, Jones’s mother said her son had assaulted both her and her husband. Jones was placed under arrest and the Trooper stated in the arrest citation that Jones smelled of alcohol. As the Trooper escorted Jones to his cruiser, Jones stated that he wanted to kill his stepfather. Both the mother and stepfather had visible injuries. Jones was charged with Domestic Violence Assault 4th degree and 3rd degree Terroristic Threatening and lodged in the Pike County Detention Center.
