MARTIN, Ky. — A Floyd County man has been arrested after allegedly breaking into a home while a child and babysitter were inside.

It happened on Sunday at Bucks Branch, in Martin. The homeowner was able to provide deputies with video showing the man entering the front door of the house.

When confronted by the babysitter, the man allegedly tried to sell drugs to the occupants.

Deputies found 44-year-old Charles Wade walking a short distance away and matched him to the man in the video.

Wade was arrested and charged with burglary, drug possession wanton endangerment and public intoxication.
