PIKEVILLE, Ky. — A Pike County man faces a number of charges after allegedly breaking into an apartment and assaulting the occupants inside.
Police were called to Habitat Street over a report of a burglary in progress. Witnesses told police that Keith Little, 42, of Pikeville, entered the apartment and assaulted two women and flashed a knife at them.
When officers arrived, they spotted Little fleeing the area. After a brief search, he was found hiding under a vehicle in the apartment complex parking lot.
When Little was placed under arrest, officers then found a bag of heroin in his pocket.
He is now charged with burglary, assault, fleeing police and heroin possession.
