Prestonsburg, KY — A mother has been charged with delivering illegal drugs, crystal meth to her son in jail. According to the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office, 58-year-old Francis Kay Henson of Langley was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth) and Promoting Illegal Drugs/Contraband after Floyd County Jailer Stuart Halbert notified Sheriff Deputies that he suspected Henson of having illegal contraband in her possession. Henson had approximately 12 grams of crystal meth. Henson’s son, 39-year-old Shawn Henson was charged with Trafficking in schedule one Narcotic, crystal meth and Promoting Contraband. Officials are continuing their investigation and more individuals may be charged.
