Grundy, VA — A new Dean has been selected by the Appalachian School of Law Board of Trustees. Virginia Supreme Court Chief Justice Elizabeth McClanahan will begin her new duties at the School on September 2nd. McClanahan will be returning to her native Buchanan County to head up the Appalachian School of Law in Grundy, Virginia. McClanahan will be succeeding retiring ASL Dean Sandra McGlothlin who announced her retirement last year but has agreed to remain in the position until September.
