New Deputy In Dickenson County

Dickenson County, VA — The Dickenson County Sheriff’s Office has welcomed a new Deputy. Deputy Brett Stallard is a 2000 graduate of Haysi High School and a 2003 graduate of Southwest Virginia Community College. Stallard completed the 80th Law Enforcement Basic Academy in 2003. In 2005 he was promoted to the position of K-9 handler in the Dickenson County Sheriff’s Office. In 2008 Stallard left the department to earn a BS Degree in Criminal Justice. In 2009, he accepted a position at Breaks Interstate Park as Chief Ranger. Now back with the Dickenson County Sheriff’s Office, Stallard will serve as Litter Control and as a patrol Deputy.
