An animal cruelty case filed earlier this year raised concerns, especially after it was not the first time the defendant had faced such charges.  But, continuing delays in the case are having a negative impact on the Pike County Animal Shelter, which is harboring the rescued animals.  EKB News reporter Shannon Deskins has a look at the case.
