The 14th annual free antique appraisals event will begin this Thursday at 3 PM until 7 PM at the Lee Avenue Pike County Library location. Our community has always thrived on handmade goods and collectibles, so now is the chance to bring any of those “diamonds in the rough” to be appraised for its value. Special Collections and Outreach Librarian at the Lee Avenue Pike County Library Charlene Hopkins says that people have brought in jewelry, old coins, artwork, handmade instruments and more. Hopkins says that the appraisal is free, but a library card is required.
