PIKEVILLE, Ky. — A Pike County couple has been arrested on a theft charge, after they allegedly took money from a misplaced purse.

Jeffery Miller, 32, and Golden Miller, 28, both of McAndrews, reportedly found a purse that had been left behind in a shopping cart back in February.

Security video allegedly shows the Millers take $266 from a wallet, then place the wallet back in the purse and leave the store with the money.

The couple was arrested Tuesday and charged with theft of mislaid property, which is a misdemeanor.
