Pike deputies round up drug suspects

PIKEVILLE, Ky. — The Pike County Sheriff’s Office has been working to arrest a number of suspects recently indicted by a grand jury, mostly for meth or heroin trafficking.

Suspects arrested or accounted for as of Tuesday afternoon include:

  • Joe Lester, 31, of Belfry, two counts of meth trafficking.
  • Justin Reed, 34, of Virgie, meth trafficking.
  • William Cody West, 42, of Pikeville, heroin trafficking, persistent felony offender.
  • Trista Worrix, 36, of Pikeville, two counts of meth trafficking.
  • Ben Burgess, of Shelbiana,
  • Jason Phillips, 26, of Elkhorn City, heroin trafficking.
  • Amber Robinson, 32, of Pikeville, meth trafficking.
  • Monroe Jackson, 58, of Pikeville, meth trafficking.
  • John Payne, 34, of Ransom, heroin trafficking.
  • Leslie Valastro, 60, of Milford, N.H., additional details not available.
