LITTCARR, Ky. — Police are investigating after a man was killed in a crash in Knott County.

It happened just after 3:30 Monday afternoon on Route 160 at Littcarr. According to Kentucky State Police, Steve Howard, 65, of Hazard, was operating a motorcycle, when a car crossed the center line and struck him head-on.

Howard was taken to Whitesburg ARH, where he died from his injuries.

Det. Scott Caudill and Det. Brandon Thomas are investigating the crash.
