Pike man charged with drug trafficking in Wolfe County

CAMPTON, Ky. — A Pike County has been arrested after being indicted on drug trafficking charges in Wolfe County.

William Looney, 44, of Elkhorn City, was arrested Tuesday morning. He was indicted by a Wolfe County grand jury on charges of trafficking in fentanyl, possession of drug paraphernalia, and public intoxication.

The case dates back to April, but he was only indicted this month.

Looney is currently being held in the Pike County Detention Center under a $10,000 cash bond.
