The attorney for Lonnie James Maynard, 54, of Raccoon, filed a motion Tuesday afternoon requesting that his client be allowed to change his plea.

Maynard is charged with production and possession of child porn. He is accused of coercing a boy into engaging in sexually-explicit conduct to produce photos or videos.

When police began investigating, they reportedly found seven videos and 133 images of child porn on Maynard’s phone, tablet and computer.

The motion for rearraignment does not specify the terms of the plea deal. Maynard will appear in Ashland federal court Aug. 18 to finalize his plea.
