The City of Pikeville renewed and extended its lease with the operators of its attractions at Bob Amos Park.
The city commission approved leasing the White Lightning Zipline, horse stables and river trails to Muddy Boots LLC for three years. The action came at a meeting of the Pikeville City Commission held Monday, Dec. 9.
City Manager Phillip Elswick says the city is happy with the work of Muddy Boots in operating the attractions. Elswick also said extending the lease for three years provides consistency to the operations of the attractions.
The Bob Amos Park attractions are the centerpieces of Pikeville’s parks and recreation opportunities.
