Pikeville, Ky: The city of Pikeville and UMG are reminding residents on the south side of the city of a planned water service interruption tonight. UMG Project Manager Donnie Slone said work will be done to relocate a 12 inch main line. Water service will be interrupted from 9 o’clock tonight through 3 o’clock tomorrow morning and will include customers from Ameritint up to and including the Indian Hills area just above the Shelbiana Food City. Once service is restored, as a precaution, there will be a boil water advisory until further notice.
