PIKEVILLE, Ky. — Court records now indicate that a Pike County man plans to plead guilty to producing child pornography.

Last week, Lonnie James Maynard, 54, of Raccoon, asked the court to allow him to change his plea, saying he had reached an agreement with prosecutors.
On Monday, a signed copy of that agreement was placed into the record, detailing the terms of that agreement.
Maynard is charged with production and possession of child porn. He is accused of coercing a boy into engaging in sexually-explicit conduct to produce photos or videos.
The plea agreement indicates Maynard will plead guilty to producing child porn in exchange for the possession charge being dropped. Maynard admits in the agreement that he communicated with a boy through Snapchat, convincing the youth to send him an explicit photo and video.
Maynard will appear in an Ashland federal courtroom to formalize his plea next Monday. Once he does, he will face a sentence of 15-to-30 years in prison.
