PIKEVILLE, Ky. — Pikeville Medical Center has announced that it has delivered the hospital’s first baby of 2023.
Remington Joe Luster was delivered at 1:35 a.m., Monday, by Dr. Tiffany Thompson. The 21-inch, 7 lbs., 2.6 ounce boy is the son of Desary Young and Bobby Luster.
And being first comes with benefits. As is always the case, PMC will waive all medical costs of the delivery that are not covered by insurance.
In addition, the University of Pikeville is providing a $1,000 scholarship to baby Remington. And Mountain Top Media has continued its tradition of lining up gifts from a number of sponsors, including Fazoli’s, Less Tax, HLT Check Exchange, The Castle, China Massage, Double Kwik, Community Trust Bank and Confident Beauty Medical Spa.
