PMC reopens vaccine drive-thru

PIKEVILLE, Ky. — Pikeville Medical Center has reopened its drive-thru vaccination clinic to help distribute the COVID-19 vaccine.

“As the region’s leader in health care, it is imperative that PMC continues to provide convenient access for our region to receive a COVID-19 vaccine, so together we can fight the horrible virus devastating our communities,” PMC President and CEO Donovan Blackburn said. “We are working diligently to save lives and encourage everyone who is not vaccinated to please do so and do it immediately.”

The drive-thru will provide first and second doses of the Pfizer vaccine, as well as third doses for immunocompromised people with a doctor’s order.

T he drive-thru will be open from 7 to 11 a.m. and 4 to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday, at 150 Healthcare Drive, in Pikeville, across from Speedway. No appointment is necessary.
