PRESTONSBURG, Ky. — Acting on a tip, Prestonsburg Police arrested a wanted man and recovered two stolen guns in the process.

Officers received information that Robbie Prater, 40, of Prestonsburg, was hiding at a home at Old West Prestonsburg. He was wanted on three active warrants.

Once they went to the location and found him, they also found the guns in his immediate area.

Prater was arrested and now faces a charge of receiving stolen firearms, in addition to the original warrants. He was jailed in the Floyd County Detention Center.
