Ratliff’s Perfect Night Powers Hawks to Big Victory

The Pike Central Hawks put together a dominant showing Friday night, cruising past Cordia with an 83-23 win.

Pike Central had two players reach double figures, led by Colton Ratliff, who turned in a near-perfect performance. Ratliff scored 19 points and did not miss a shot all night, going 9-for-9 from the field and from three-point range.

Brody Fields followed with 11 points, shooting 50 percent from the floor and 42.9 percent from beyond the arc. Zaiden Coleman led the Hawks on the boards, pulling down seven rebounds.

As a team, Pike Central shot 57.1 percent from the field, 36.4 percent from three-point range, and 75 percent from the free-throw line while finishing with 29 total rebounds.

The Hawks will be right back in action tonight when they host June Buchanan at the Hawks Nest, with tipoff scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
