Pike County, KY — Two Remote Area Medical clinics are scheduled in the region. The first is scheduled for June 28th through June 30th at the Wise County Fairgrounds located at 10101 Fairground Road, Wise, Virginia. The other is scheduled for August 10th through August 11th at the East Ridge High School near Elkhorn City. Both clinics will provide free Dental, Vision and Medical services on a first come, first served basis. RAM Clinics typically opens the clinic parking lot no later than 12 midnight on the first night of the event. Ticket distribution usually begins at 3 am and patients are then served in numerical order according to their ticket number when the clinic doors open at 6 am. Due to time constraints, patients are asked to choose between Dental and Vision services but Medical services are offered to every patient attending the clinic. And again, the clinics are free and open to the public.
