Reward for accused murderer raised to $10,000

SOUTH WILLIAMSON, Ky. — Police are asking the public to be on the lookout for a convicted murderer who is accused of killing again. And the reward for information leading to his capture has been raised to $10,000.

Charles Ray Blevins, 36, is wanted for first-degree murder, felon in possession of a handgun, and parole violations.

He is accused of shooting and killing Adrian Smith in South Williamson back in July of 2019.

Before that, he was convicted of second-degree murder in Huntington in 2009, then paroled in 2019.

Blevins is described as 6 feet, 3 inches tall and 210 lbs. Police say he has several distinctive tattoos on his forearms, but he may have changed his appearance and be living under an alias.

He should be considered armed and dangerous.
