A Pike County man could face life in prison in a sex abuse case.
Quentin Deshon Reed Little, 23, of Old Wagoner Station Road in Pikeville, was indicted last week on a charge of first-degree sodomy. According to the indictment, Little engaged in deviate sexual intercourse with a child younger than 12 years old over the Thanksgiving weekend last year.
Pike Commonwealth’s Attorney Rick Bartley said the alleged victim is a child Quentin Little knew.
The first-degree sodomy charge filed against Little is a Class A felony charge, punishable by between 20 years and life in prison. Bartley said parents should be ever-vigilant in listening to children and looking for signs of possible abuse.
Little is scheduled to be arraigned June 8th in Pike Circuit Court on the sodomy charge. He is currently not in custody in Pike County.
