Pikeville, KY — Kentucky State Police ‘Shop with a Trooper’ event is rapidly approaching. Post 9 Pikeville has announced, that once again pictures with Santa Claus will be available. This event is a fundraiser for ‘Shop with a Trooper’ project. ‘Shop with a Trooper’ receives no state funding and relies solely on donations from the public to help disadvantaged children in the 5-county area that Post 9 covers. Several fund raisers are held yearly from car washes to Run Signal 9/5K run and once again this year Pictures with Santa. This event will be held at Angie G. Photography in Prestonsburg, Saturday, December 14th from 12 Noon until 4:00 PM. The public can bring their children or even pets to have their picture taken with Santa with all proceeds going to the Kentucky State Police ‘Shop with a Trooper’ event.
