MOUNT GAY, W.Va. — Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College has received an award for its innovative approach to dealing with challenges of the pandemic.

The college’s SSConnect program was recognized during the West Virginia Association of Student Personnel Administrators and West Virginia Trio Conference last week.

SSConnect operates as a virtual student center, where students can meet with representatives from Student Services, Financial Aid, Advising and more online via a Zoom call.
