PIKEVILLE, Ky. – On Sunday, a surprise ceremony was held to welcome home 5-year Veteran Landon Tackett.  The homecoming was held at Texas Roadhouse in Pikeville, where he thought he was just going to have a nice dinner with his friends and fiance.  But, when he arrived he was greeted by his family, friends and veterans alike.  The street was lined with fire trucks and police cars with lights on to honor the Bronze Medal recipient, who was met by Mayor Jimmy Carter who presented him with a key to the city.  Tackett says his immediate plan is to take a break, let his body heal and then go from there.  And, we here and EKB would also like to thank Landon Tackett for his service.
