Teen allegedly threatens teacher, charged with felony

FALLSBURG, KY.-A Lawrence County teen is facing a felony charge, after allegedly making a threat against a former teacher. Fallsburg Elementary staff contacted Kentucky State Police, after students told them of threats made on a school bus the previous day. The state trooper investigating the case learned that a 14-year-old Lawrence County High School student told younger students that he planned to take a gun to the elementary school and kill one of his former teachers. The 14-year-old was arrested and charged with second-degree terroristic threatening, which is punishable by 1-to-5 years in prison. He was lodged in the Boyd County Juvenile Detention Center.
