Prestonsburg, Ky: When a child becomes ill, it can be a trying time for not only the child but the families as well both emotionally and financially; as many of those children often have to seek treatment hours from home. Founders of the Jordan Light foundation, through there own personal experience, have seen the financial burden that can create on those families and they are here to help. This Friday is your chance to help the Jordan Light Foundation help those families as they are hosting their 4th annual Jordan Light Foundation Golf Scramble, where all proceeds go to help those families and give them much needed relief.

“They said there is nothing like pulling up to a gas station and knowing instead putting five dollars worth of gas in, they can fill their tank up. So we’ve had different things like that or I had to choose between whether I was gonna use that money for food or for gas. So it gives them the opportunity to, and with chemo children, they are sometimes picky eaters, and so it gives the families the opportunities to be able to get that child what it needs.”
