HAZARD, Ky. — Police are looking for a third suspect in last week’s murder of Letcher County man, and they are asking for the public’s help.
Kentucky State Police announced they are searching for Clarence Russell Brown, 33, of Neon. He has been charged with murder and tampering with physical evidence.
Brown is described as standing 6 feet, 1 inch tall and weighing 185 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. He should be considered armed and dangerous.
Police began a missing person’s investigation April 30, after family members of Ricky Allen Gibson, 44, of Jackhorn, reported that he hadn’t been seen for several days. On Thursday, his body was found over a hillside along Haymond Hill Road.
At that time, Clifford Caudill, 38, of Neon, and Dedra Keathley, 50, of Pikeville, were charged with murder and tampering with physical evidence.
Anyone with information regarding Brown’s whereabouts is asked to contact Kentucky State Police Post 13 at (606) 435-6069.
