The Logan County West Virginia Sheriff’s Office assisted members of the U.S. 119 Drug Task Force in executing a search warrant on a residence in Kistler. During the search, Officers found approximately 224 grams of crystal meth, approximately 13 grams of suspected heroin, a .22 caliber pistol and $2,798.00 in cash. These items were found in the bedroom where 27-year-old Kayla Mitchell of Kistler and 41-year-old Curtis Miller of Columbus, Ohio were sleeping. The owner of the residence, 36-year-old Tiffany Belcher was also present in the residence. All three were arrested at the scene. Miller and Mitchell were charged with possession with intent to deliver and conspiracy. Their bond was set at $35,000 cash only. Belcher was charged with conspiracy and given a bond of $10,000.00. All three remained lodged in the Southwestern Regional Jail.
