PIKEVILLE, Ky. — A Pike County man who was being arrested for two outstanding warrants found himself facing new charges, after police allegedly found him carrying meth.

A Pikeville Police officer spotted Bobby Kendrick, 37, driving along the Pikeville Bypass and remembered that Kendrick’s license is suspended and he is wanted on two warrants out of Floyd County.

The officer stopped Kendrick and arrested him, then found a bag of meth, a bag of marijuana, digital scales and a large amount of cash. He was arrested on meth trafficking and drug possession charges, along with numerous traffic violations.

But once he got to jail, a search allegedly found him in possession of a bank bag containing bags of meth and fentanyl in his underwear. He was additionally charged with promoting contraband.
