LOUISA, Ky. — A burned-out light bulb was all it took to send two men to jail on drug trafficking charges.
Police pulled over a car in Lawrence County, after observing that the license plate was not illuminated. The driver — Jeffery David Clark, 56, of Fort Gay — appeared to be under the influence, and he reportedly admitted to using meth and marijuana earlier.
While searching the car after placing him under arrest, officers discovered multiple bags containing more than 8 grams of meth, as well as 7 grams of marijuana.
Clark and his passenger — Bobby May, 51, of Louisa — were both arrested and charged with meth trafficking, marijuana trafficking and other charges.
