PIKEVILLE, Ky. — Two Pike County men have been arrested after being indicted on drug trafficking charges.
Brian Hurley, 50, of Stopover, and George Compton, 34, of Phelps, were arrested Monday, after being indicted last week. They are accused of trafficking 10 or more hydrocodone tablets back in March.
In addition, Hurley is named in a second indictment charging him with two more counts of drug trafficking. In that case, he is accused of trafficking hydrocodone and neurontin back in March.
Both men were arrested and booked in the Pike County jail, although Compton has since made bond.
Hurley is scheduled to be arraigned next week. Compton is not due back in court until November 2nd.
